Stockholm
Crates, cinnamon buns and autumn colors.
Stockholm in autumn: low light, cold air and a city that slows down between one coffee and the next.
A few days walking from shop to shop, mostly on Södermalm, with a stop for fika whenever the hands got cold. A few places from the trip.

Record Mania
Södermalm
The first stop. The crates start before the door: wooden boxes on the pavement, full of records waiting for anyone patient enough to flip through them.

Fade Records
SoFo · Skånegatan
A few streets away, in SoFo, the black sign of Fade Records over an old wooden door. Lamps over the window, stickers by the entrance, records facing the street.

Fika
A table by the window
Every digging day needs a pause. A kanelbulle, a cup of coffee and a table by the window: here fika is a ritual, and the crates can wait half an hour.

Djungel & Jazz
SoFo · Hökens gata
Records, plants & life, says the window. A pink neon in the doorway and green leaves behind the glass: a shop that feels more like a living room.

Every street ends in water
Södermalm
Stockholm is built on fourteen islands, and it never lets you forget it. Walk downhill long enough and every street ends in water: between one shop and the next, the city keeps opening up like this, all quays, bridges and reflections.

Stadshuset
Kungsholmen
Between one shop and the next, a walk to Kungsholmen. Under the arcades of the City Hall the light comes in low over the water.

Old lanes
Autumn light
Cobblestones, red wooden houses and leaves on the ground. Stockholm in autumn has colors that ask for slow, deep records.

Autumn, full volume
Djurgården
The last walk, and the season turned all the way up: copper, rust and gold around the towers of Nordiska museet, under a sky heavy with rain. No better way to close the Stockholm chapter.
A beautiful chapter of the digging story.
